Bury Villa is a grand 18th-century, 7-bedroom Georgian house, now serving as a popular Airbnb stay. The brief from the owner was to refresh key rooms — including bedrooms and shared spaces — where décor had become outdated and worn.
The light refurbishment focused on impactful updates: wall finishes, ceiling lighting and curtains being the main changes. Each room was given its own character and colour story, designed to work in harmony with the existing fireplaces and antique furniture.
Drawing inspiration from the home’s Georgian heritage, the schemes strike a careful balance between classic and contemporary for both the individual spaces and the property as a whole— bringing warmth, depth, and renewed elegance throughout. The goal was to enhance the guest experience, creating a memorable yet comfortable stay that feels both timeless and thoughtfully modern.
It was a privilege to work on such a beautiful, historic property and play a part in its continued legacy.
